Franklin Falls Dam
Franklin Falls Dam was built and constructed in 1943 on the Pemigewasset River to protect cities and towns along the Merrimack from flood damage. While the dam's main purpose is flood control, it is also a valuable recreation and natural resource area.
PRG under a contract with the US Army Corps of Engineers, replaced the entire post and cable guardrail along the dam Crest Road.
